I’m pretty meticulous about when a baby officially starts “rolling over”
the baby has to do it intentionally and at least 3 times in a row in order to count as “rolling over”
anything else is purely happenstance.
Everett first started rolling around 3 months, but I suspect it was mostly involuntary – it was very unpredictable.
Then, he went through this weird phase where he would check himself and stop himself from rolling:
And then, on Wednesday, July 6th (two days before he turned 4 months) he did it for real:
And these days, now that he is 7.5 months old, he refuses to roll and hates being on his tummy.
But sit him up and he is as happy as can be.
